J. H. Sharp (fl. 1865) was a Confederate courier of the 13th Virginia Artillery. The collection includes a first-hand recollection by Sharp, of General Robert E. Lee before and during the surrender at Appomattox, written after the Civil War and endorsed by another observer; and a few miscellaneous papers of Henry T. Sharp.
